Nanowrimo done, won (yay!) and now drawing again...

In the middle of Nanowrimo right now, so not drawing so much...

Got some sketches uploaded though, to start lining and coloring once the hectic month is over!

So I'm trying to draw again, uploaded my first attempt in a long time today. I've never been able to draw well just freehand, but if I have a reference to look at, I can do fairly well....the orc was done using a photograph of a female body-builder and a screenshot of my orc from the game as references. I'm playing around with GIMP, mostly for coloring and shading.

Must keep practicing!

I'm going to finally start uploading some of my work....it's going to be gradual, starting with the stuff I have on disks here at work, got to hunt for the stuff I've got at home.

I really need to start updating my blog more regularly, got a couple of potential sponsors that would likely become real sponsors if I could manage to update the thing once a week or once a month or once a sometime....

Problem is, the blog tends to be a rant-o-meter, and I don't have anything to rant about, really, lately. Could always rant about politics, I suppose, but my only political choices at the moment are both pretty....bleh...and arguing with each other, which isn't going to help matters any, at all.

*ponders* Oh well, going to work on my novel, at least the characters are there to write it.
